Thank You for joining EQAT's Green Your Money Pledge dedicated to getting PNC Bank out of the business of financing mountaintop removal coal mining!

We start closing our accounts together on June 1st!

Save the Date.  (Don't worry if you can not join us that day, we will organize other collective account closing actions over the following months.)

1) The first step is get yourself ready to close your account.
See the tips and resources that we have put totgether. 

2) Very important:  Let us know when you are all set and ready to go:  GreenPNC@gmail.com  This will help us be able to organize groups of folks to close their accounts together!

3) Spread the word and grow the movement.
We want to drive large numbers of people to our new website so that they can learn about PNC Bank’s involvement in mountaintop removal and sign the pledge themselves

    Announce the new website in your Meeting or place of worship.
    
    Publish a notice in newsletter. See text attached below.
    
     Add link to our webpage on your webpage.
    
    Blog about us.  Friend us on Facebook.  Retweet us on Twitter.  This really makes a difference!

3)  Share information with others.
Help us build a strong network of support. Share information about us with other sympathetic organizations.    

    Other faith communities.
    
     Environmental, peace and justice groups.

With the recent purchase of RBC Bank, PNC now has branches in AL, DE, DC, FL, IL, IN, KY, GA, MD, MI, MO, NJ, NC, OH, PA. SC, VA, WI.  Let’s link with  people in every one of them!

4)  Join us on the Green Walk for Jobs and Justice.

We leave Philadelphia on Monday, April 30th.  We will hold a large action and press conference in Harrisburg on Monday, May 7th.  We will end with an action at PNC National Headquarters in Pittsburgh on Wednesday, May 16th.  We would love to see you for a day, more, or the whole walk.

5) Donate to help us cover costs.
All this additional activity costs us more money.  We are grateful for your contributions.
